By Robert Bradley Jr. -- August 11, 2020 No Comments“We are the voice of energy workers pushing back on radical green groups and the ideologues who fund them.”
In February 2018, the 501c4 advocacy group Power the Future joined the energy-policy fray on the side of consumer-chosen, taxpayer-neutral energies. Think oil and gas in particular. Coal too.
By way of introduction, I have copied material from their website for interested readers.
“What We Believe“
Four pillars:
- America is blessed with abundant and reliable energy sources that have been the lifeblood of our national advancement and prosperity.
- We must be generous stewards of our environment for this and future generations.
- Sharing facts (about energy policies, organizations and activists) creates a better-informed population.
- We can have the highest quality of life and the cleanest, most cared for environment.

Trump: “Restoring US Energy Dominance” (Excerpts from July 29, 2020 speech)
By Robert Bradley Jr. -- August 3, 2020 No Comments“To ensure we maintain this dominant position long into the future … my administration is announcing today that export authorizations for American liquefied natural gas can now be extended through the year 2050.”
“Today, I’m taking another bold action to support energy jobs in Texas. In a few moments, I will sign four critical permits, granting approval to vital pipeline and railway infrastructure on our nation’s border.”
Last week, President Trump got back on the energy trail (see previous energy-related talks here, here, here, here, and here) with a speech at Double Eagle Energy in Midland, Texas. Some highlights of his talk follow:

By Robert Bradley Jr. -- February 27, 2020 4 CommentsThere’s a war on conservativism, but it’s not coming from the Left. Whether it’s the Soros-funded Niskanen Center, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, or the Center for Responsible Energy Solutions, the goal is the same: push the Left’s global warming agenda on conservatives—and label it “free market.” But when it comes to their funding, these eco-cons have one message: Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain! “… we’re at a very, very good point environmentally right now.”
“Anti-energy zealots are blinded by ideology. Democrats want to ban shale energy, but shale energy has reduced America’s carbon emissions by 527 million metric tons per year. So what are they doing? A much better record than the European Union, which is always telling us how to do it. We should be telling them how to do it, based on our economy.”
“And congratulations to all of you, our great energy people, for what you’ve been able to accomplish, especially in the last three years…. [T]he path to that future starts right here in shale country, with all of you — the proud patriots of Pennsylvania and Ohio and West Virginia.”
