Trump Correct on the Paris Climate Accord (five year anniversary of withdrawal decision)

By Robert Bradley Jr. -- June 1, 2022

Editor Note: On this day in 2017, President Trump announced that the U.S. would withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord. On November 4, 2019, the U.S. formally notified the United Nations of such, which went into effect one year later. President Biden reversed the withdrawal to officially rejoin the Paris Agreement on his first day in office.

“Thus, as of today, the United States will cease all implementation of the non-binding Paris Accord and the draconian financial and economic burdens the agreement imposes on our country. This includes ending the implementation of the nationally determined contribution and, very importantly, the Green Climate Fund which is costing the United States a vast fortune.”

THE PRESIDENT: One by one, we are keeping the promises I made to the American people during my campaign for President …. …

Gee Whiz! Residents Do Not Like Wind Turbines (E&E News report)

By Robert Bradley Jr. -- May 31, 2022

“[A]cross the United States, rural communities have become a flashpoint for siting for wind and solar energy projects…. [T]he cumulative impact … could matter to efforts to reach climate goals. Memorial Day 2022: Let’s Go!

By Robert Bradley Jr. -- May 27, 2022

The automobile is environmentalism-on-wheels. The open road is freedom to escape the concrete for the great beyond. Mountains, rivers, hills, forests, even beautiful green golf courses–it is all a drive away.

The old Marathon ads said it best …a full tank of freedom. And Shell: “Let’s Go!” And Exxon: “Happy Motoring!”

Don’t worry about the anti-travel crowd like the folks at Climate Progress who fret about emissions of the trace green gas, carbon dioxide. Just forget the spin and go for a spin!

Each year, MasterResource celebrates the beginning of the peak-driving season knowing that our free-market philosophy is about energy abundance and affordability and reliability. And there is little to apologize for.…
