A hot summer puts the Texas power grid on the cusp of failure. Wind and solar nonperformance is at issue. Conservation orders, sure enough, have been issued by ERCOT, as have mandatory orders for the ‘reliables’ to postpone maintenance.
What does the Texas wind and solar industry do to shore up support to keep the gravy train on the tracks? The world is watching Texas, with February 2021’s debacle now threatening living standards during opposite weather condition.

Evidently, one of the PR strategies was to form a shadowy front group to extol the virtues of Texas, competition, and freedom. But then comes repeated exhortations for an “all of the above” energy policy with wind turbines and solar panels pictured with a drilling rig.
Sounds fair, a little middle-groundish, right?.
Wrong! It’s a bait-and-switch–and triple deceit.

We are here to build an army of Texans who want more free-market competition and less government regulation. Together, we can ensure that the Texas economy is open and free. If you support slashing unnecessary government regulations, free markets, and innovation – then sign the petition and join us today.
But there is no information on their website about who they are and what they are really trying to accomplish. BUT if ‘Texans for Economic Liberty’ is really “free market” and pro “capitalism,” their public policy agenda should champion the following:
